Man City backed to agree mega-money Toni Kroos deal in January after update – pundit
Paul Robinson has backed Man City to table Toni Kroos a mega-money pre-contract agreement in the new year.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one said Kroos, 32, would be an easier and cheaper signing to make than Jude Bellingham.
Kroos’s contract with Real Madrid expires at the end of next June.

The centre-midfielder will be able to speak to foreign clubs regarding a pre-contract from January.
According to Spanish outlet SPORT (14 November), Man City are willing to offer Kroos a deal worth approximately £230,000-a-week to join on a free next summer.
Real Madrid will reportedly do their best to keep the former Germany international at the Bernabeu.
When asked by Football Insider if Kroos would be a welcome addition for that amount of money, Robinson said: “Kroos is such an intelligent footballer.
“If you can get a player of that quality and experience on a free transfer you pay him handsomely.
“When you look at what they would pay overall, it would not be that bad a deal. It would not cost a fortune because there would be no transfer fee.

“I think Kroos could play at the top level for another three or four years. He is a world-class player. It is a no-brainer for me.
“There is going to be a lot of competition for [Jude] Bellingham. Kroos might be cheaper and easier to get.”
In other news, a finance guru has claimed Man City could ‘cut ties’ with one of their sponsors amid a Premier League investigation.
