Man City debutant sends message after what happened vs Chelsea
Omar Marmoush has sent Man City fans a message following his successful debut for the club against Chelsea.
Pep Guardiola’s team came from behind to comfortably defeat the Blues 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday (25 January) after goals from Josko Gvardiol, Erling Haaland, and Phil Foden.
The fixture also saw Marmoush make his debut for the club following his £59million move from Eintracht Frankfurt earlier this month.
The 25-year-old started the game for City and played 74 minutes before being replaced as he showed fans what he’s capable of.
The Egypt international did put the ball in the back of the net during the first half, but his goal was ruled out due to being offside.
Marmoush has already scored 20 goals and provided 14 assists this season across all competitions, which City supporters will be keen for him to continue.

City’s new man also showcased his defensive work rate by winning 67 percent of his tackles and making three recoveries.

Marmoush penned a long-term deal at City by committing himself to the club until 2029.
