Man City fans: Jack Grealish is ‘finished’ after what they saw v Forest
Man City fans have been left fuming at Jack Grealish after his performance during the FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest.
Pep Guardiola’s side won 2-0 at Wembley after Rico Lewis’ goal gave them an early lead after just two minutes, while Forest failed to have a single shot in the first 45 minutes.
The second half saw Josko Gvardiol double the lead with a header shortly after half-time, while Anthony Elanga and Morgan Gibbs-White missed huge opportunities for Forest.
However, it was Grealish’s performance on his return to Guardiola’s starting XI that caught the eye of the travelling City fans.
Despite a fast start, the 29-year-old faded into the background of the game and failed to make a difference in the final third before his withdrawal in the 71st minute.
As a result, supporters are suggesting he may now be “finished” in this Man City team.

Man City could cash in on Jack Grealish after Guardiola decision
Grealish’s future at the Etihad has been a significant talking point given his lacklustre performances when called upon to step into the starting XI.
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Man City are prepared to let Grealish leave this summer as he is no longer a part of Guardiola’s plans.
The midfielder is also interested in a move away from the Etihad in search of more regular game time after he was left out of Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad.
Now, fans have joined in the criticism for the midfielder, with many calling for him to be axed from the side this summer.
This comes after Brown told Football Insider that Guardiola will decide Grealish’s Man City future ahead of a potential squad overhaul this summer.
City fans slam Jack Grealish after Nottingham Forest display
Brown told Football Insider in December that Man City are concerned about Grealish amid uncertainty about his long-term future at the club.
He has started just 16 games in his 31 appearances so far this season, with just seven of those starts coming in the Premier League amid doubts about his performances.
Taking to social media following the game, supporters have expressed their frustrations as Grealish was labelled “useless” and “finished”.
