Man City fans slaughter Phil Foden after what they spotted today

Phil Foden left Man City fans fuming after his performance in their 1-1 draw with Everton at the Etihad Stadium.

The Premier League champions continued their dismal recent run on Boxing Day after being held by the Toffees, meaning they have just one win in their last 13 games in all competitions.

After taking the lead through Bernardo Silva’s deflected effort, Iliman Ndiaye’s sweet strike pulled the visitors level before the break.

Erling Haaland then had a penalty saved after half-time meaning Man City were forced to settle for a point to further enhance frustrations for the club’s fans.

Another player who became the target of their ire after an underwhelming performance against Everton was Foden himself.

Man City fans fume at Phil Foden after performance vs Everton

It has been a challenging campaign for last season’s Premier League played of the year, who has already come under fire at times in recent weeks.

The winger has scored just once all season and never looked like adding to that tally for Man City against Sean Dyche’s side.

He was also booked late on after pulling down the shorts of Everton substitute Armando Broja as the striker attempted to launch a counter attack.

As a result, a number of Man City fans were far from impressed with Foden as they took to social media to give their thoughts on the game.

In other news, a big claim has emerged over Pep Guardiola’s future at Man City.
