‘Man City to sell Ederson immediately’ – Fans fume after Nottingham Forest howler
Ederson looks to have cost Pep Guardiola’s side a point away from home as Man City lost 1-0 to Nottingham Forest on Saturday, and fans are demanding action.
Travelling supporters saw their side lose for the ninth time in the Premier League this season, with Callum Hudson-Odoi sparking pandemonium late on at The City Ground on 8 March.
Guardiola is now under immense pressure from Man City fans following the frustrating defeat, with the likes of Erling Haaland, Phil Foden and Savinho unable to take advantage of the majority of possession.
The Norwegian striker was completely marked out of the game following a couple of early chances, and even with Kevin De Bruyne, who could leave Man City this summer, and Omar Marmoush coming on, Forest left the happier.
Hudson-Odoi latched onto a cross-field pass from Morgan Gibbs-White, and with just the goalkeeper to beat, he fired into the goalkeeper’s near post, and the finger was quickly pointed at Ederson.
Man City to finally ship Ederson out to Saudi Arabia
It has been reported that Ederson is open to a move to Saudi Arabia as the Man City goalkeeper continues to come under heavy pressure at the Etihad Stadium.
The shot-stopper, who is far better with his feet than with his hands, has made several mistakes throughout the season, but with City suffering in all competitions, it is not a surprise to see his form drop too.
Stefan Ortega has always stepped up when called upon, but with just nine league appearances so far this season, City could be left with no goalkeepers once the 2025/26 campaign rolls around.

Ederson has nowhere to hide after Nottingham Forest howler
Ederson had pulled off a brilliant save against Hudson-Odoi earlier in the game, earning rave reviews from both sets of fans at The City Ground.
Now, fans are ready to cash in on the 31-year-old, which could still be a good price if a move to Saudi Arabia materialises, and one supporter believes he should be the “first one sold” once the season ends.
Another has claimed that Man City cannot move forward until the mistake-prone goalkeeper is gone while multiple called for him to be sold “right now”.
