Man United and Arsenal stars react to Harry Kane’s message after England development
Harry Kane dispatched a message of gratitude after being recognised for his performances with England.
Kane played a crucial role for Vincent Kompany last term, finishing as the Bundesliga’s top scorer for the second year in a row, while helping the club lift the title.
Despite their exit in the Club World Cup this summer, Kane had showcased his goalscoring form for Bayern on the world stage, netting twice in the round of 16 against Flamengo and three in the competition in total.
He has also continued his influence on national level, as he scored in every World Cup qualification game so far, ensuring England sit top of their group
Now, as the next round of qualifiers approaches, the England captain has been rewarded for his consistent displays and continues to underline his importance.

Harry Kane wins England’s top goal-scorer award for 2024/25
After another season where Kane has continued to find the net, he has been awarded with England men’s Top Goal scorer award.
He posted on Instagram following the award with a heartfelt message to say: “Absolute honour to be England’s top goal scorer for the 2024/25 season. Pulling on this shirt and representing my country means everything. More to come!”
His message saw reactions from his England teammates, with Harry Maguire commenting with applause emojis and James Maddison sharing a goat emoji.
Other players also shared their support with Arsenal’s Declan Rice, Morgan Rogers and Bayern teammate Jamal Musiala, all liking the post.
The 32-year-old netted seven times for his national team last term, with goals against the likes of Ireland, Albania and Senegal.
Last season was a memorable campaign for him on a personal level, as Kane celebrated being England captain for seven years earlier in the season.
Harry Kane to prepare for Premier League return

Ever since the Englishman left the Premier League, he has continued to be linked back. Recent reports suggest Kane could leave Bayern in the near future, as he is unlikely to see out his career in the Bundesliga.
The striker is currently 48 goals away from breaking Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League goalscoring record of 260, which could tempt him to make a return.
Both Man United and former club Tottenham have been linked with a move for Kane, though any deal is unlikely to happen before next summer.
