‘He’s leaving’, ‘Goodbye’ – Man United fans slam one Mourinho line-up decision v West Ham
Jose Mourinho has named his starting XI to take on West Ham at the London Stadium tonight as they look for the point that will secure second place in the league, and fans can’t believe that he’s not playing Anthony Martial and going with a defensive team.
Romelu Lukaku is still injured amid concerns he might miss the FA Cup final, and Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard are Mourinho’s supply for goals.
Both Martial and Marcus Rashford are on the bench.
The team news was announced on the official Man United Twitter page ahead of the 7.45pm kick-off:
It’s been a tough season for United fans, despite probably ending up as runners-up in the league. They’ve had to watch rivals Man City run away with the title, and Pep’s side currently sit 20 points ahead of United.
However, they do have a chance of silverware and they’ll go into the FA Cup final as slight favourites over Chelsea who are likely to finish outside of the top four.
However, they’re getting tired of the negative football from their manager and gave it him with both barrels after the team news was announced.
