Man United fans have demolished Marcus Rashford for his “stinking” performance in their win against West Ham United on Sunday afternoon (4 February).
The Red Devils secured a huge three points against the Hammers at Old Trafford in the 3-0 win courtesy of Rasmus Hojlund’s 23rd-minute opener and a second-half brace from Alejandro Garnacho.
Rashford started the clash against West Ham – his second in a row after being internally disciplined by Erik ten Hag for calling in sick to training after partying in Belfast late last month.
Despite an emphatic display from United which saw them climb to sixth in the Premier League table, the England international failed to get in on the action.
He managed just 69 per cent pass accuracy, failed to have a single shot on target and mustered just 0.16 expected goals.
Fans widely criticised the academy graduate for failing to make an impact on the game and missing crucial chances to put the game to bed.
Supporters have taken to social media to berate the forward, and some have called for the club to cash in on their “lazy” asset.
