‘Man United fire sale begins’ after Sky journalist’s update – reaction
Man United supporters believe that the club is undergoing a “fire sale” after a new report from Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg.
Plettenberg claimed that United have internally decided that over half of the current squad are serious candidates for sale in the winter or summer transfer window if good offers come in.
Ruben Amorim is being backed by the club to rebuild the squad himself, but urgent sales will be required to make that happen.
Amad Diallo, Kobbie Mainoo, Noussair Mazraoui, Leny Yoro, Andre Onana, and up to three other unnamed key players are currently the only players considered unsellable by the Premier League giants.
United are looking to drastically change their fortunes this season, with the 20-time champions currently sat 13th in the Premier League table after the first 15 games.
Man United supporters have backed the wholesale changes
However, the choice to completely overhaul the squad is something that fans have claimed is the “absolute direction to go.”
In other news, Alejandro Garnacho named ‘worst player at Man United’ as dreadful stat emerges.
