Man United star 'heaps pressure' on Solskjaer as Pogba fumes over 'big lies' - pundit
Paul Robinson has ripped into Paul Pogba after he “heaped more needless pressure” on Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Premier League goalkeeper said the 28-year-old’s red card against Liverpool was “absolutely stupid” and “mindless”.
Pogba was sent off 15 minutes after coming on in Sunday’s humiliating 5-0 loss to Liverpool at Old Trafford.
According to The Sun (27th October), the centre-midfielder apologised to his teammates after the game but snubbed under-fire manager Solskjaer.
The World Cup winner has since taken to Twitter to refute the report.
He insisted the story is fake news and is made up of “big lies to make headlines”.

When asked for his thoughts on Pogba’s challenge on Naby Keita, Robinson told Football Insider: “It was a stupid tackle, absolutely stupid, mindless.
“At that stage of the game, with the scoreline getting embarrassing, the last thing you need is to go a man down. He heaped more needless pressure on his teammates and his manager.
“I can only describe it as mindless. You wonder what was going through his mind in that situation.
“Yes, everyone is frustrated and angry but you don’t go around and do that.”
Pogba has made 12 appearances for the Red Devils this season but has been benched for crunch fixtures against Atalanta and Liverpool.
He will serve a three-game suspension in the Premier League following his dismissal on Sunday.
