Man United star Marcus Rashford breaks social media silence after Ten Hag sack
Man United forward Marcus Rashford has posted on social media for the first time since Erik ten Hag was sacked.
Ten Hag, 54, was finally relieved of his duties at Old Trafford on Monday (October 28) after leading the 20-time champions to their worst-ever start to a Premier League campaign.
Former striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has taken temporary charge of the club, helping United secure an impressive 5-2 League Cup victory over Leicester City on Wednesday (October 30).
It’s unlikely Van Nistelrooy will be at the helm for much longer, however, with Ruben Amorim set to take his first Premier League job after being linked with the likes of Chelsea, West Ham, and Liverpool at the end of last season.
Marcus Rashford unhappy at Man United under Erik ten Hag
While many Man United players have posted farewell messages to their former manager, Rashford, who turned 27 today (October 31), is yet to say anything regarding the matter.
Instead, Rashford ended his social media silence by sharing Man United’s birthday message to the left-winger on Instagram.

Rashford and Ten Hag reportedly had a frosty relationship with the forward seriously struggling for form in the latter stages of the Dutchman’s tenure.
United are racing to appoint Amorim before their Premier League clash with Chelsea on Sunday (November 3) but appear to be in good hands with Van Nistelrooy in temporary charge.
