Man United told to accept ‘£30m Andre Onana offer’ – fans react

Man United fans want to see the club sell Andre Onana and accept a “£30million offer” after his latest mistake against Brighton on Sunday (19 January).

The 20-time champions suffered a 3-1 defeat against the Seagulls at Old Trafford to continue their dismal season, and Onana had a part to play in that.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper failed to keep hold of a routine strike from Yasin Ayari, which led to a tap-in for Georginio Rutter.

Onana cost United £47million in July 2023 when he was signed from Inter Milan to replace David de Gea, but it has been a rocky road since then with lots of inconsistent performances.

The defeat was United’s 10th of the season in the Premier League, with the squad struggling to find any form despite the managerial change.

The Premier League giants currently sit 13th in the table, sitting seven points adrift of the top 10.

Man United fans want Andre Onana sold

United supporters have now seen enough of the Cameroon international, with fans admitting they’re “tired of seeing Onana’s mistakes.”

Some fans have called for Altay Bayindir to step in as the first choice option, while others believe the club need to sell Onana “ASAP.”
