Man United told to sign Declan Rice after source's £50m reveal - pundit
Gabby Agbonlahor has claimed Man United need to sign a centre-back, right-back, defensive midfielder and a striker this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England forward claimed Declan Rice would be a “perfect” signing for Man United.
ESPN reported earlier this week (2 May) that they will have a clear run at signing the 23-year-old this summer.
A Man United source told Football Insider last month (23 April) that Erik ten Hag will have a budget of £50million this summer.
That will be boosted by player sales but Agbonlahor has claimed that the players Ten Hag will want to sell will only raise “pennies”.
He told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “They do need to spend money.

“When I look at Man United, they need another centre-back, a right-back, a proper holding midfielder, someone like Declan Rice would be perfect, and a striker.
“In the wide positions, they’ve got Sancho, Elanga and Rashford so that’s enough on the wings.
“There are not many positions that they need but to fill in those positions you’re talking over £100million for the high quality.
“They need to try and bring some money by making some sales but the players they are going to sell, they are going to get pennies for them.”
Man United look destined to finish sixth in the Premier League this season, one place above West Ham.
However, the Hammers may qualify for the Champions League by winning the Europa League as they go into today’s (5 May) semi-final second leg with Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 down.
