Man United told to ‘terminate’ Luke Shaw’s deal – fans react
Man United supporters have told the club to “terminate” Luke Shaw’s contract after he suffered another injury setback.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the left-back has been dealt a blow in his road to recovery from a calf injury that will see him out of action for longer.
The 29-year-old has not played for United in 254 days despite making three appearances for England during that time.
Shaw suffered a calf strain during pre-season training after missing the end of the season due to a torn hamstring and has yet to feature this season.
It is the latest in what has been an injury-plagued career at United, with the defender having suffered 24 different injuries since joining the club in 2014.
During that time Shaw has missed out on 253 games for the 20-time champions, forcing United to adapt and find other solutions at left back.
