Medical scheduled: Manchester United close in on left-back transfer as player heads in - Sky

Versatile Manchester United player Sean Goss is set to undergo a QPR medical as he puts the finishing touches to a £500,000 transfer, according to a report.
Sky Sports claim on their transfer centre blog (Monday, 12.32pm) that the two clubs have agreed a fee for Goss after the Championship outfit’s bid was accepted.
It is said that the England Under-19 international, who can play at left-back or in midfield, will now travel down to London for a medical and to discuss personal terms.
Goss, 21, has represented England at age-group level despite being born in Wegberg, Germany.
He signed for Manchester United for around £100,000 in 2012 at the age of 16 from Exeter, who he had joined when he was just eight.

Goss has been called up to train with Jose Mourinho’s senior squad but is yet to make a first-team appearance for United.
Intriguingly, Goss has not left United on loan during his time with the club but is now set for a permanent transfer and opportunity to play regular senior football.
QPR’s hopes of avoiding relegation from the Championship have bee given a major shot in the arm in recent weeks, with a haul of 10 points from four matches lifting Ian Holloway’s side to 17th in the Championship.
