Manchester United fans were all hailing one standout player despite their team falling to a “disgraceful” 3-0 loss against Manchester City.
Phil Foden opened the scoring for Man City with Bruno Fernandes getting hounded online by fans who were angered by his role in the goal.
Roy Keane aimed his criticism for the goal at Luke Shaw, as United found themselves a goal down at half-time.
Erling Haaland scored a second half brace and was showered with praise from Gary Neville for his scintillating performance.
Ruben Amorim makes Man United sack admission
The results boosts City up to eighth in the Premier League table, giving Pep Guardiola his second win of the season.
Meanwhile, Ruben Amorim’s side are dragged further into the mire, sitting 14th in the table, with four points from four games.
Amorim will hope that Sir Jim Ratcliffe sticks by him, despite the co-owner looking unimpressed in the stands as he watched on at the Etihad.
In his post-match comments, Amorim came out with more outlandish comments, giving United’s hierarchy a bold ultimatum following the defeat to City.

Bryan Mbeumo caught the eye of United’s fanbase and journalists, with the Red Devils summer signing, seeing multiple efforts come close, as the visitors searched for a way back into the contest.
The Athletic’s Carl Anka said: “Mbeumo trying to be the spark for his team. His quality is Top 6 worthy. He will need more support on both sides of the ball if Man United are to finish in the Top 6 this season.”
