Manchester United next manager: Andoni Iraola odds tumble
Manchester United are increasingly likely to appoint AFC Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola for the 2026-27 campaign.
The Spaniard is out of contract in the summer after doing a remarkable job at the Cherries over the past three years.
At Bournemouth, the club is regularly fighting for European football, something they could still achieve this season,
Now, one bookmaker has put him at 14/1 to take over at Old Trafford in the summer, with Oddschecker confirming that these odds have been slashed.
Below, Football Insider examines whether the Red Devils should take a risk on Iraola.

VISIT THE MANAGER HUBAndoni Iraola has become one of the most promising managers in the Premier League
At just 43-years-old, Iraola is no doubt one of the best upcoming managers in football.
So far, he has succeeded at every club he has been at, with his work at Bournemouth being his best yet.

Currently, the Cherries are on an 11-match unbeaten run, despite losing several key players over the last 12 months, including Antoine Semenyo.
However, many of these have been draws, with Bournemouth picking up a league-high of 15 so far this campaign, by far the most in the division.
This is simply something he wouldn’t be able to do at Man United, or he could risk going down the same route of Louis van Gaal.

On top of this, appointing managers who have been successful at mid-table sides has rarely worked for the Premier League’s ‘big six’ in recent years, with Thomas Frank being the latest failure.
Therefore, opting for Iraola over the likes of Michael Carrick, who has been tremendously successful so far at Old Trafford, is perhaps at risk not worth taking.
Who else is linked to the Man United job?
With Football Insider exclusively revealing that Carrick is in a strong position to become Man United’s manager permanently, this has been reflected in the bookies.
Currently, the caretaker manager is the comfortable favourite for the role at 16/19 odds.
Following this is Julian Nagelsmann at 7/1 and Oliver Glasner at 8/1, with the latter set to leave Crystal Palace at the end of the season.
Luis Enrique also remains in the running at 11/1 despite reports that he may snub Man United in favour of staying at Paris Saint-Germain and renewing his contract.
Gareth Southgate is also an outsider at 12/1, with the former England international manager continuously linked to the role.
