Marcus Edwards shared a message with supporters following Burnley’s confirmed promotion to the Premier League, capping off what’s been a standout loan spell since his arrival in January.
Burnley secured automatic promotion earlier in the week, whilst also confirming Leeds United’s return to the top flight after a hard-fought 2-1 win over Sheffield United.

His post drew a wave of support from teammates, with James Trafford replying with heart emojis and Jaidon Anthony calling him “Our saviour.”
Other familiar names and former teammates, such as Manchester United’s Manuel Ugarte and Tottenham’s Pedro Porro also liked the post, showing their appreciation.
Edwards has made a strong impact since joining in January, starting 11 of his 13 appearances, while registering a goal and an assist.
His consistent performances had attracted Premier League interest, with Man United and Everton reportedly interested in Edwards, though that now seems unlikely as a permanent stay at Burnley edges closer.
