Marco Silva to Tottenham: Odds tumble for manager job with Igor Tudor sack expected
Marco Silva has seen his odds slashed to become the new Tottenham Hotspur manager after Football Insider exclusively revealed Igor Tudor is set to be sacked.
The current Fulham boss is out of contract in the summer and is yet to renew his deal.
With the future of Igor Tudor looking uncertain after the 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, Spurs may be forced to act.
As a result, Silva is now just 8/1 to become their next manager, with Oddschecker on 25 March confirming that these odds have been slashed.
Below, Football Insider has explored the saga regarding Silva’s potential Spurs appointment.

Silva’s reign at Fulham has no doubt been impressive.
The 48-year-old took over the Cottagers after their relegation from the Premier League, another season where they struggled to establish themselves in the top-flight.

Then, after dominating the Championship, he has turned Fulham into a mid-table side, with the club consistently in the race for European football.
As a result, it would have come as little surprise to many that Fabrizio Romano confirmed on X on 25 March that Silva was being discussed internally as a potential long-term appointment.
The manager would be seemingly a safe appointment, with him boasting Premier League experience at Hull City, Watford and Everton prior to taking over at Fulham.

However, with Thomas Frank previously failing at Spurs after previously finding success at Brentford, an appointment still has its risks.
Who else is linked with the Tottenham job?
Football Insider exclusively revealed on Tuesday that Tudor is expected to be sacked within 48 hours.
With Roberto De Zerbi now the club’s top target, it is no surprise he is the bookies’ favourite to take over at 13/8.
Following this Adi Hutter remains in the mix at 4/1, with the former Monaco manager being strongly linked to the post earlier in the week.
| Manager | Odds to join | Reason |
| Roberto De Zerbi | 13/8 | Top Tottenham target (Pete O’Rourke) |
| Adi Hutter | 4/1 | Heavily linked at start of week |
| Mauricio Pochettino | 6/1 | Open to Tottenham return |
| Marco Silva | 8/1 | Appointment being discussed internally |
| Robbie Keane | 12/1 | Impressed early in his management career |
Mauricio Pochettino continues to remain in the running at 6/1, while Robbie Keane is now considered to be an outsider at 12/1.
The latter manager had been heavily linked to Spurs for weeks after impressing at Ferencvaros.
However, it remains to be seen who Tottenham will look to appoint if Tudor is sacked, with their Premier League safety firmly in the balance going into the last leg of the season.
