Striker Marcus Antonsson has hailed his Leeds teammates ahead of Saturday evening’s clash against Brighton.

The Yorkshire giants are currently far exceeding pre-season expectations as they sit in fourth place with nine matches left of the Championship campaign.

They have a tricky fixture coming up next against Chris Hughton’s second placed side at Elland Road at the weekend, but forward Antonsson was full or praise for his teammates in the build-up to the clash.

The 25-year-old Swedish player posted a picture of his teammates on Instagram on Thursday afternoon with the caption: “What a team”.

Antonsson joined Leeds in the summer from Swedish outfit Kalmar FF for an undisclosed fee.

He has so far found himself in and out of the first team with Chris Wood currently shining in the striker role.

His last league appearance for the club came back at the beginning of January in a 3-0 win over Rotherham and he will still be hoping to play some part before the season’s end.

In other Leeds news, Kyle Bartley has taken a humorous dig at this Whites ace.
