Mark Lawrenson predicts Tottenham v Bournemouth, slates defence
By Amir Mir
Mark Lawrenson has backed Tottenham to beat Bournemouth 3-0 in their Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon.
BBC Sports pundit Lawrenson slated the Cherries defence by claiming “under sustained pressure” they are unable to cope at the back.
Over the course of the season, Eddie Howe’s free-scoring side have conceded 59 goals from their 32 league matches.
Only relegation-threatened duo Swansea City (67) and Hull City (64) have conceded more during the course of their difficult campaigns.
As a result, former Liverpool defender Lawrenson has backed the home team to pick up yet another three points.

“It will be the same story against Spurs this time. Bournemouth are lively coming forward but under sustained pressure, they do not look like they have enough defensively to hold out.”
Despite their defensive woes, Bournemouth did manage to hold Spurs to a goalless draw when the two met during the reverse fixture from earlier on in the campaign.
However, they will have an even tougher task on their hands this time round because Spurs are looking to claim their seventh consecutive win.
Added to that, their attackers Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son are in form, not forgetting the return of their top scorer, Harry Kane.
Bournemouth come into this match having been beaten 3-1 at home by current league leaders Chelsea.
Antonio Conte’s side will be hoping Howe’s team can cause an upset on the weekend which will allow them to open up the seven-point lead at the top.
Chelsea will take on their former manager Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, knowing dropped points could prove to be vital.
