Mauricio Pochettino has stated that signing Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is “not realistic” for Tottenham.
The 24-year-old recently confirmed that he had held talks with the Spurs manager about a move to White Hart Lane.
However, the Argentine has seemingly dismissed the possibility that the young Spaniard could be a Tottenham player in the near future.
“He’s a great kid and a very good player,” said Pochettino. “But I think it’s not realistic, that situation, in wanting Morata for us.”
