Matheus Cunha ‘wants to join Man United’ after what he did v Wolves – Fans react
Man United fans are convinced Matheus Cunha will make the move to Old Trafford this summer after what they saw him do against Wolves.
Ruben Amorim’s side limped to a frustrating 1-0 defeat at home in what proved to be a flat game with very few serious actions in the first half.
The second half saw more of the same before Pablo Sarabia found the net in the 77th minute to earn all three points, with United’s eyes set solely on the Europa League.
However, prior to the game, fans spotted Cunha smiling and waving towards the home crowd, before Amorim was seen giving him a nudge as they entered the tunnel.
Footage quickly did the rounds on social media, adding to the speculation that the 25-year-old could become a part of Amorim’s squad before the end of the summer window.
This comes after Football Insider revealed in November that Man United are eyeing a move for Cunha and have had scouts tracking his performances at Molineux.

Former United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider in October that Cunha is being tracked by a number of top Premier League clubs.
Speculation about his future has ramped up after he confessed: “I’ve made it clear that I need to take the next step. I want to fight for titles, for big things.” [The Guardian]
Brown told Football Insider on 7 April that there is no way Cunha stays at Wolves beyond the end of the season as he has effectively cut ties in the Black Country.
The Brazil international signed a new deal at Molineux following the January transfer window – but a £62.5million release clause was included in the deal.
His performance at Old Trafford left plenty to be desired, but it has done little to stem the speculation about a potential summer deal.

Man United have been long-term admirers of the forward and are believed to be ready to rival the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Nottingham Forest for his signature.
Meanwhile, Amorim mentioned Cunha by name when highlighting the issues Wolves could cause his side during the pre-match press conference.
Now, fans have taken to social media to insist the Brazil forward will be making the move to Old Trafford when the summer transfer window opens.
