Mauricio Pochettino cited as West Ham edge closer to sacking David Moyes – pundit
Paul Robinson has claimed West Ham should think twice before sacking David Moyes.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one said the club would not be able to get “an elite manager” like Mauricio Pochettino or Thomas Tuchel.
The Hammers have lost their last five Premier League games on the bounce.

Sources have told Football Insider (31 December) that Moyes is edging closer to the sack following the 2-0 defeat to Brentford.
The Irons face Leeds United, Wolves and Everton in their next three league games.
When asked by Football Insider for his thoughts on Moyes’ future, Robinson said: “I can tell you this, I’d be cautious if I was West Ham.
“You have to be careful what you wish for sometimes. Where do you go from Moyes? He has done a great job at that football club.
“Results and performances at the moment are not great, especially when you consider how strong the squad is. But, the new signings have not hit the ground running and players like [Tomas] Soucek are far from their best.

“There is a number of problems now. The performances in the Europa Conference League are night and day when you compare it to the Premier League.
“If you sack David Moyes though who do you get in? They are not going to get an elite manager like [Thomas] Tuchel or [Mauricio] Pochettino. I think they need to think really carefully before sacking Moyes.”
