Hearts midfielder Oliver Lee is undergoing a medical at Gillingham today after agreeing the terms of a deal, Football Insider understands.
Lee has found himself out of favour at Hearts so far this season and manager Craig Levein is willing to let him leave.
A Gillingham source has told Football Insider that the club have settled a deal with Hearts in which the 28-year-old will join on loan until January.
Lee is set for medical tests with the League One outfit today before putting pen to paper on a contract.
The attacking midfielder made 41 appearances for the Edinburgh club last season, scoring six goals and an impressive 12 assists.
He shone in the Scottish Premiership, with his 28 matches yielding three goals and six assists.
The West Ham academy product has played for Birmingham City, Plymouth Argyle, Dagenham, Barnet and also had a spell at Gillingham earlier in his career.
He also had a lengthy spell at Luton, where his 124 matches yielded 11 goals and 17 assists.
