Michael Owen makes bold prediction for West Ham clash against Swansea

Michael Owen has boldly predicted that West Ham will lose their Premier League encounter against Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on Boxing Day.
TV pundit Owen believes the Hammers were “fortunate” to beat Hull City last time out as he backed the home side to claim a valuable three points.
Slaven Bilic’s men have picked up back-to-back wins leading up to this festive game, beating newly-promoted duo Burnley and Hull via controversial penalty decisions.
But, former Liverpool striker Owen has backed under-fire Bob Bradley to drag the east London club back into the relegation scrap by inflicting a damaging defeat on their rivals.
“The Hammers gained much-needed back-to-back home wins against Burnley and Hull City but they were, arguably, fortunate against the Tigers and I think the Swans can keep the points despite their poor defensive record under new manager Bob Bradley,” Owen wrote in his Bet Victor column.

Swansea’s last two home games have been very eventful with 12 goals scored and Bradley’s side picking up six points out of six.
As a result of their defensive fragilities, they have shipped the most goals in England’s top flight this season, with 37 goals conceded from their 17 league games.
However, the Welsh club still sit in the relegation zone on 12 points, three points from safety and they could fall further away, if they drop points on Monday.
By contrast, the Irons are five points from the bottom three, but they have picked up just two points from their last three matches on the road.
After this encounter, Bilic’s side will travel to the Midlands to take on the champions Leicester on New Year’s Eve.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers are joint favourites to sign this Liverpool 27-year-old.
