Former Tottenham star Micky Hazard has given his verdict on the North London derby claiming to have predicted the correct result and that he did not even watch the game.

Spurs came out on top in the final ever North London derby at the current White Hart Lane as they won 2-0.

Dele Alli and Harry Kane scored their goals in three mad second half minutes to give them a huge three points.

The result means Spurs close the gap on league leaders Chelsea to four points, the Blues beat Everton 3-0 earlier on Sunday afternoon.

Hazard posted his message on his personal Twitter account after the final whistle claiming that he did not even watch the game, mocking Arsenal in their defeat.

He also claimed to have predicted the result and the correct goal scorers, saying: “Guys I missed the game, what was the score, I predicted 2-0, with Harry [Kane] and Dele [Alli] scoring.”

Kane now has 21 Premier League goals for the season, while Alli has now netted 17 from midfield.

Both players have been Spurs’ star performers and both stepped up to be the difference for Mauricio Pochettino’s side on Sunday.

Hazard played a part in Tottenham’s 1982 FA Cup winning side, and in their UEFA Cup winning side of 1984.

The 57-year-old made over 100 appearances for Spurs during his time at the club.
