‘Mikel Arteta facing sack pressure’ after Arsenal signing spree
Mikel Arteta could come under pressure if Arsenal fail to win the Premier League next season following their signing spree.
The Gunners have already signed Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard and Noni Madueke, with those deals setting them back more than £120million.
The London giants have also agreed to sign defender Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia for an initial £13million.
Meanwhile, Arsenal remain in talks over a deal for Viktor Gyokeres with Sporting Lisbon.
Finance expert Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider Arteta would face pressure if he failed to lead Arsenal to the Premier League title following their transfer activity.
The Gunners have finished second in the top-flight table in each of the past two campaigns.
Arteta has only won one major honour since returning to the club as manager in 2019, having lifted the FA Cup trophy in 2020.

Arsenal set for ‘expensive’ summer after deals agreed
Borson insisted it’s going to be an “expensive” summer for Arsenal after signing multiple players.
He told Football Insider: “The club is well run and financially is doing well.
“Now, clearly they have to take that next step and it’s going to be an expensive summer for them.
“They are also talking about Eze and there is some rumours still about Rodrygo from Real Madrid now.
“It’s going to be a very big summer.
“Then there’s the defender they’ve agreed to sign as well.
“It’s not a bet the ranch, but I think for Arteta if he was to sign four or five players and still didn’t win it, I think he would be under some pressure.”

Arsenal race Liverpool to sign Rodrygo
Recruitment expert Mick Brown told Football Insider Arsenal remain interested in signing Rodrygo this summer.
There is a growing feeling the Brazil international could be allowed to leave Real Madrid as Xabi Alonso looks to head in a new direction.
However, Arsenal are not alone in their pursuit of the winger as Liverpool also want to sign Rodrygo and have been keeping tabs on his situation.
