Mills delivers verdict on Alioski quitting Leeds United after key update
Ezgjan Alioski can have no complaints about his lack of recent playing time and it would be no surprise if he quits Leeds United.
That is the view of former Whites and England defender Danny Mills, speaking exclusively to Football Insider as the north Macedonia international enters the final months of his contract.
After a run of 16 consecutive starts stretching back to November, the winger turned full-back has had to settle for a place on the bench in the Whites’ last three games.
“All players want to play and have that opportunity,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.

“Sometimes you feel you’ve not had a fair crack at the whip and you’ve not had a fair opportunity.
“The problem is Leeds are doing well and that doesn’t help.
“If you’re out of the side and the team are doing badly you’ve just got to bide your time. When the team is doing well you can’t really have any argument with that.
“Alioski probably realises some moves work and some moves don’t and it’s about as playing as often as you can.”
Alioski has shared left-back duties with Stuart Dallas this season with the Whites without a natural left-back in the squad.
Barry Douglas is in the middle of a season-long loan spell at Blackburn Rovers and it is understood he will not return to Elland Road when it ends.
