Leeds tipped by Mills to replace Casilla quickly after Radrizzani reveal
Danny Mills has claimed Kiko Casilla’s exit from Leeds United “works for all parties”.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Whites and England defender backed the club to sign a replacement second-choice goalkeeper quickly.
Football Insider learned on 10 July Casilla was set to undergo a medical at Elche ahead of a season-long loan move.
Leeds then confirmed on 12 July that the stopper had completed his temporary move to the Ligue 1 side.
It leaves the Yorkshire giants with Illan Meslier as their only senior goalkeeper option.
Football Insider exclusively revealed today (14 July) Freddie Woodman has rejected the chance to join Leeds.

The Whites had launched a loan move with a view to a permanent transfer but the Newcastle ace does not want to play second fiddle.
He has spent the last two seasons as first-choice at Swansea City.
Asked whether a deal for a new goalkeeper could happen soon, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Yes, I’m assuming that’s just to get him off the books and free up his wages.
“It will give you a little bit of money to bring somebody in.
“If he’s not going to play he’s probably not happy. The club don’t really need him how as a number two.
“Therefore, it’s a good move for all parties I would suggest.”
After Casilla relayed the news of his departure on Twitter owner Andrea Radrizzani labelled him a “legend”.
He went on to say the one-time Spain international can always call Leeds United “home”.
