Leeds 26-year-old is man behind shocking run of form, summer can't come soon enough
Leeds have been on a shocking downward spiral of form in 2018.
The latest form table shows that Leeds are actually rock bottom of the Championship table with just eight points from 14 games.
It’s a frightening statistic that shows just how far Leeds fell under Thomas Christiansen, and how they’ve completely failed to turn things around under Paul Heckingbottom.
So what’s gone wrong?
There’s obviously a dramatic loss of confidence in the side, but for the most part they’re still the same group of players that were riding high at the top of the league at the start of the season.

Samu Saiz has obviously been a miss when he was suspended and in the 2-1 defeat against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
But Leeds have missed another player even more – Luke Ayling.
Ayling is out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury and his side look completely lost without him.
In the ten games before he was injured, Leeds lost just two games and won six, conceding just nine goals – less than one a game.
They’ve only won one of the next 12 without him and conceded 25 goals – more than double the average when he was in the side.
Gaetano Berardi delivers passion but he’s not in the same league as Ayling.
There’s nothing Heckingbottom can do about the injury but Ayling will be back in the summer and he will be like a new signing when he returns.
