Morelos ‘like a new signing’ for Rangers after Van Bronckhorst change – Kenny
Paddy Kenny has tipped Alfredo Morelos to find his best form under new Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
The former Leeds stopper, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, was impressed with the Colombian’s performance in the Europa League this week.
Morelos, 25, bagged a brace as Rangers beat Sparta Prague 2-0 on Thursday night.

This takes his tally to nine goals in 22 outings this season after notching 17 times during last year’s campaign.
As quoted by BBC Sport (20 October), former boss 6Steven Gerrard slammed Morelos’ goal record this season as “not enough”.
Kenny claims Morelos was playing without pressure under his new manager and backed him to thrive following his newfound freedom.
“I think Morelos has found a little bit of freedom,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“We haven’t seen a performance from him like that for quite a while now.
“I think Gerrard said a few weeks ago that he wanted to see more from him.
“This season hasn’t been his best but there is something about those European nights at Ibrox.
“He came alive and you expect that when he has a new manager to impress.
“If Van Bronckhorst can get the best put of Morelos it will almost be like a new signing.
“Two goals will do his confidence no harm and he will want to get some more goals in the league, I’m sure.”

Morelos’ goal against St Mirren on 24 October was his 100th in the Light Blue of Rangers.
However, he has only bagged one league goal since hitting this milestone.
