Morgan Gibbs-White has sent Nottingham Forest fans a message after their emphatic Premier League victory against Brighton on Saturday (1 February).

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men delivered a performance to remember as they astonishingly demolished the Seagulls 7-0 at the City Ground.

An own goal from Lewis Dunk was followed by goals from Gibbs-White, Neco Williams, Jota Silva, and a hattrick from Chris Wood to secure an important three points.

The result provided a significant boost to Forest’s European football hopes as they drew level on points with Arsenal as only goal difference is keeping them in third place.

Forest’s performance was one that shocked Callum Hudson-Odoi, as the injured star praised his teammates on social media.

On the other hand, Brighton fans were calling for Fabian Hurzeler to be fired after his team’s performance on the day.

Gibbs-White scored his fifth goal of the season in this match as he continued his impressive personal campaign.

However, he took to Instagram to focus on his teammates after they got back to winning ways following their defeat against Bournemouth during their previous outing.

He said, “Some way to bounce back,” as Forest looked to put the 5-0 loss behind them.
