Morgan Gibbs-White ‘wants to join Man City’ after what he did – Fans react
Man City fans are convinced they will sign Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White this simmer after what they saw at Wembley.
Pep Guardiola’s side progressed into the FA Cup final after a 2-0 win, after Rico Lewis found the net after just two minutes and had City leading at half-time.
Josko Gvardiol doubled their lead shortly after the break, and despite missed chances by Gibbs-White and Anthony Elanga, Forest never looked like winning.
Gibbs-White looked the most likely player for Forest, hitting the woodwork twice, but struggled to make any real impact to drag team back into the game.
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Man City will hold talks with Forest about a deal for Gibbs-White ahead of the transfer window.
Now, supporters are calling for Guardiola’s side to get the deal over the line this summer, with some insisting it may already be done.

Man City eye move to sign Morgan Gibbs-White
Kevin de Bruyne is set to leave the Etihad upon the expiry of his contract in June, leading to speculation about who the club will target to replace the Belgium international.
Football Insider revealed on 11 April that Gibbs-White is on Man City’s list alongside Bundesliga duo Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala.
Guardiola is said to have been impressed by the 25-year-old’s performances at the City Ground and he would represent a different style to the outgoing De Bruyne.
However, Brown told Football Insider that Forest are planning to keep Gibbs-White and will hold talks over the offer of a new contract this summer.
Morgan Gibbs-White praised for FA Cup semi-final display
Gibbs-White has made 33 appearances for Forest across all competitions so far this season and is spearheading their efforts to reach Champions League qualification.
An England international, he is likely to come at a premium if he is set to leave the City Ground, but that has not put City off of a move.
Following their FA Cup semi-final clash, City fans have taken to social media to call for the midfielder’s signing, as many insisted he “wants to join” this summer.
