Moussa Dembele posts Twitter message after Celtic secure title

By Dominic Toner

Celtic forward Moussa Dembele believes there is still more to come after his side clinched the Scottish Premiership title on Sunday.

Brendan Rodgers’ side earned a 5-0 away win at Hearts and wrapped up the league with eight matches still to go.

The Boys have now won six consecutive top flight titles and a hat-trick from Scott Sinclair, plus Stuart Armstrong and Patrick Roberts goals, secured an emphatic title victory.

Dembele was unable for selection due to injury, but Celtic were able to win without their talisman.

The 20-year-old has been a key player for the Scottish champions this season, scoring 32 goals in 46 appearances across all competitions.

“Champions. Hard work and dedication paid off. Feels great and special to be champion but there is still more to come Bhoys and Ghirls,” Dembele wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Dembele was unable to be the hero on the day of their title triumph, but he has been pivotal to their success this campaign.

The forward is emerging as one the great young stars in European football and has made an instant impact since his summer arrival from Fulham.

He has netted three hat-tricks this campaign and also scored three goals during the club’s Champions League group stage.
