West Ham manager David Moyes is considering dropping Joe Hart for the game against Chelsea on Saturday, according to a report.
The Guardian reports that the Hammers boss is deciding whether to recall Hart straight back into the side after the goalkeeper missed playing against Manchester City due to the club’s loan agreement.
Adrian played against Manchester City instead and impressed many but Moyes did undermine the goalkeeper’s performance after the game.
The Spaniard did openly admit that he was hoping for a run of games and it seems Moyes is considering giving him what he wants.
Hart’s place isn’t just in jeopardy because of Adrian’s recent performance but also down to the goalkeeper’s shaky start to the season.
The England number one has conceded 30 goals in 14 games and has only kept three clean sheets so far.
West Ham have conceded the most goals in the Premier League, and are 19th in the table ahead of their clash with Chelsea.
Moyes has been in charge for four matches, after taking over from Slaven Bilic, and has only picked up one point.
If the Hammers fail to beat the Blues and Swansea City win their game against West Bromwich Albion, then West Ham could find themselves bottom of the league.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers are closing in on the signing of this prolific striker, according to a report.
