Murillo bids farewell as surprise Nottingham Forest player exit confirmed
Nottingham Forest defender Murillo shared a reaction on social media after the club confirmed a surprise exit.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have suffered a mixed start to the new campaign, with a win over Brentford before enduring a 3-0 loss to West Ham.
The manager has overseen a busy transfer window, bringing in a number of signings to strengthen squad depth as Forest prepare for their first European campaign in 29 years.
Nottingham Forest broke their club-record fee to sign Omari Hutchinson, alongside signings such as James McAtee, Arnaud Kalimuendo and Dilane Bakwa.
However, in turn, there has needed to be exits to balance the books, with Anthony Elanga joining Newcastle for £55m and Danilo returning to Brazil with Botafogo.
Now, the club have confirmed another exit, one that has raised eyebrows given it involves a player who had only just signed for Forest earlier in the summer.

Cuiabano returns to Botafogo in loan deal
Nottingham Forest announced on social media that Cuiabano has re-joined Botafogo on a short-term loan deal until December.
Fellow Brazilian defender and new teammate Murillo shared a reaction to the news by liking the announcement.
The 22-year-old signed for the club on a four-year deal on deadline-day, but immediately rejoined the Brazilian side for the remainder of the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A campaign.
Forest had also signed Oleksandr Zinchenko on a loan deal from Arsenal on the final day, leaving spots in the squad limited for Cuiabano, raising question marks over the signing.
However, the Brazilian league ends in December, and coinciding with the end of the season will be the beginning of the Africa Cup of Nations, that Ola Aina will feature in.
The plan appears to be to allow Cuiabano to maintain regular minutes in Brazil before linking back up with Forest at a time when defensive cover could be crucial.
Nottingham Forest receive Marco Silva boost

Despite a busy summer window at the club, it seems as if owner Evangelos Marinakis is already eyeing a new manager after a public fallout with Nuno.
Football Insider revealed Silva is “unhappy” at Fulham and is on the list to become the next Forest manager.
With Silva questioning his future at Craven Cottage after a frustrating summer of limited transfer activity, and Nuno’s situation at the City Ground still uncertain, Silva could be tempted by a move if Forest part ways with their current head coach.
