News of the injury was broken on the Four Lads Had a Dream Twitter site earlier on Thursday morning.
This is a reliable source of Rangers news and they stated that the player had picked up the injury in Spain and that was why he missed the development game with Man United as he homed in on a return from injury.
Quite a few asking why Jordan Rossiter missed yesterday’s Man Utd development game and the response we got isn’t good.
Jordan injured his ankle in Spain last week & hasn’t been able to train since. The extent of it is unknown, will try & find out more soon— Four Lads Had a Dream (@4ladshadadream) February 15, 2018
They followed this up with an update that stated that he picked the injury up in a tackle in the game against Valencia.
The good news is that it is not a recurrence of the calf injury that has kept him out all season.
They also said he was wearing a protective boot ahead of the assessment on Monday.
