Murty revolution: Rangers table bid for another international forward (not Cummings) - report
Graeme Murty is continuing his revolution at Rangers as a £350,000 bid was tabled for Kilmarnock forward Jordan Jones, according to a report.
The Scottish Sun claims that the Light Blues have offered a six-figure fee for Northern Ireland international Jones, 22, as Murty continues his overhaul of the first-team at Ibrox.
The wide-forward has been in top form at Rugby Park this season and is being eyed up as one of four potential recruits that Rangers could make this week.
Nottingham Forest forward Jason Cummings is said to be in Glasgow ahead of talks with the Gers while Norwich defender Russell Martin is expected to travel to Scotland to discuss a loan move to Ibrox.
It is understood that Rangers are in advanced negotiations with Norwich about Martin, 31, and the Scotland defender is expected to jet into Glasgow in the next 48 hours.
Rangers are also reported to have a firm interest in Hamilton midfielder Greg Docherty and are expected to launch an official bid within the next two days.
Football Insider verdict
Rangers are very busy at the moment. It seems that their trip to Florida in the USA had temporarily held them back in making more signings, but now that is over, Murty and director of Mark Allen are in no mood to sit around and watch the days go by. January is shaping up to be a huge month for the Gers. Murty could be fielding a very different-looking side when the Premiership action returns in a couple of weeks. Jamie Murphy and Sean Goss already look like decent signings and swoops for Jones, Cummings, Martin and Docherty would complete what would be a very good month at Ibrox.
In other Rangers news, the Gers are expected to announce this done deal within hours after a medical is scheduled.
