Neco Williams mocks Wolves in response to Morgan Gibbs-White’s message
Nottingham Forest defender Neco Williams has poked fun at Wolves’ “quiet stadium” in a response to teammate Morgan Gibbs-White after their 3-0 win on Monday (January 6).
Gibb-White, 24, opened the scoring against his former club after just seven minutes, finishing off a lovely one-two with Anthony Elanga.
Forest thought they should have had a penalty after the ball appeared to strike Rayan Ait Nouri’s hand inside the box, but VAR deemed it to have been in a natural position.
Chris Wood finally doubled their lead just ahead of the break, taking his Premier League tally to an impressive 12 so far this season.
The in-form striker was substituted in the 88th minute, allowing his replacement, Taiwo Awoniyi, to round off the scoring and secure all three points.

Gibbs-White has been key for Forest as they march toward Champions League qualification, starting all 16 of his games across all competitions, scoring four goals, and providing three assists in his 1263 minutes of action.
Williams has been in and out of the side, however, starting 10 of his 18 games across all competitions, scoring zero goals, and providing one assist in his 1017 minutes on the field.
The left-back took to Instagram to respond to Gibbs-White’s most recent post, saying: “Quiet stadium after 7 mins.”

Forest’s win over Wolves takes them up to third, level on points with Arsenal on 40 and just six behind league leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will next host Luton Town for their first FA Cup game of the season on Saturday (January 11).
