'One of the worst footballers I've ever seen' – Man United fans slaughter one player in win v B'mouth

Jose Mourinho made seven changes for his side’s visit to the south coast to take on Bournemouth, and came away with three points, but fans were left unhappy by Marouane Fellaini.

The towering midfielder has missed a lot of the season through injury and has only made three starts prior to this game in 13 appearances.

He was unleashed in the starting XI for Wednesday night’s game but fans would have preferred he stayed on the bench, after a poor display in grey.

United took a 1-0 lead into the break thanks to Chris Smalling, who put away from close range after good work from Ander Herrera and Jesse Lingard.

And Bournemouth couldn’t haul them back in the second half, with Romelu Lukaku adding a second, with the three points cementing United’s second-place spot in the Premier League.

But Fellaini seemed always on the periphery of the action tonight and fans took to Twitter to give him stick during the game, with one saying he was the worst footballer he’s ever seen.
