New Aston Villa signing could become the best in the world and more signings expected

New Aston Villa owner Tony Xia has praised the new arrival of Pierluigi Gollini and has told fans to expect further additions.
The Midlands side completed the signing of Hellas Verona goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini on a four-year-deal on Friday.
Xia took to Weibo, cited by the Birmingham Mail, to praise the 21-year-old’s qualities and tipped him to succeed Italy legend Gianluigi Buffon in the future.
He also promised Villa fans more arrivals in the coming weeks.
It is understood that the Chinese owner will sanction deals to sign a new striker and a creative midfielder as well as Reading midfielder Aaron Tshibola.

“The club finally signed the talented Italian goalkeeper despite the fact he was being chased by a big club in Serie A and a few other clubs,” posted Xia to Weibo (cited by the Birmingham Mail).
“Gollini will be one of the best goalkeepers in the world and he has the ability to emulate Buffon in the future. He will be one of the key players in Aston Villa’s defensive line with Tommy Elphick.
“And both of them look great ! In the next month more players could join the club. It is a new era for Aston Villa! UP THE VILLA.”
The 21-year-old shot-stopper will now join up with his new teammates for a pre-season tour in Austria
The Villains are looking to start a new era at Villa Park after suffering relegation to the Championship in the recently completed season.
The Midlands side has seen former owner Randy Lerner depart from the club this summer and they have also appointed Roberto Di Matteo as they look to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
