Rangers defender Connor Goldson has linked up with his new team-mates in Spain as they get put through their paces by manager Steven Gerrard.
The former Brighton ace was pictured by the Daily Record after arriving in Andalusia and meeting up with his new side at their training camp.
Fellow new boys Scott Arfield, Jamie Murphy and Allan McGregor flew out with the squad on Sunday morning while Croatian defender Nikola Katic also joined up with the squad on Sunday night.
On-loan Liverpool youngster Ovie Ejaria is expected to arrive imminently as Gerrard’s side prepare for the new campaign.
Football Insider verdict:
It’s good to see the new signings all getting down to work and meeting their new colleagues. Goldson and Katic both look like exactly what the Gers need with their imposing statures. Light Blues boss Steven Gerrard has previously said how he is looking at the trip to Spain to help build a positive atmosphere in the squad and Goldson seems to have quickly hit it off with some of his new team-mates. The Gers will need to work on making sure all the new signings are integrated into the side and there aren’t any splits in the dressing room as they try to challenge bitter rivals Celtic. Nobody at Brighton seemed to have a bad word to say about Goldson – fan or player – and the 25-year-old should hopefully be a positive influence in the dressing room at Ibrox. With Bruno Alves still to return to the squad, the Light Blues already look to be a much more physical side than last season.
In other Rangers transfer news, they are leading the hunt to sign an in-demand attacker from Liverpool.
