Newcastle expected 4-2-3-1 v Burton: 27-year-old axed

Newcastle are expected to make just one change to their starting line-up which takes on Burton in the Championship on Wednesday evening.
Manager Rafa Benitez is likely to welcome Isaac Hayden back into his eleven for the midweek clash at St. James’ Park after he made his long awaited return from injury against Wigan on Saturday with a 20 minute substitute appearance.
But, it is expected that the summer signing from Arsenal will see more action on Wednesday and he could fall back into the team for the experienced Jack Colback.
The 27-year-old former Sunderland man has come in for criticism from large sections of the Toon fan base due to his performances and he could be axed by the Spaniard as the closing stages of the edges closer.
Meanwhile, the rest of the team is likely to remain unchanged following the 2-1 victory over Wigan.

Karl Darlow is near guaranteed to keep his place between the sticks as the club’s clear number one and he will have to be protected by a back four likely to consist of Vurnon Anita, Grant Hanley Jamaal Lascelles and Paul Dummett with usual central defender Ciaran Clark injured.
Meanwhile, midfield duo Jonjo Shelvey and Hayden will also protect defensive unit and allow more freedom to the attacking quartet.
Regular widemen Yoan Gouffran and Matt Ritchie will be expected to provide the width, while Mohamed Diame will be hoping to add to his assist from the weekend.
They will all also be looking to feed Dwight Gayle, who has an incredible 22 strikes in 31 outings for Newcastle in all competitions this season.
