‘Clueless’, ‘Talking rubbish’ – Newcastle fans furious after Mike Ashley blog comments

Newcastle United fans took to social media to condemn Richard Keys for his comments about Rafa Benitez, as he suggested the manager was to blame for the club’s struggles – and not owner Mike Ashley.

The former Sky Sports man in his latest blog post stated that Benitez was the reason why the Magpies were in the relegation zone and Mike Ashley had nothing do with the club’s troubles.

Keys continued mocking Benitez for wanting transfer funds to fix the problems with the team, saying doesn’t every manager?

However, Magpies fans did not agree with Keys in the slightest and laid into him for his views on Benitez.

One fan accused Keys of being in cahoots with other pundits against Rafa, while another pointed to Keys’ friendship with Keith Bishop as a reason for his opinion.

Bishop is a PR specialist who is close friends with Mike Ashley.

As usual, Richard Keys is wrong. He is swallowing the spin of Ashley's PR man. #NUFC's current misfortunes do not reflect badly on Rafa Benitez but are a clear condemnation of the owner's miserly ways. Keys should look at Ashley's net spend on players during his ten year reign.
