Newcastle fans all say the same thing as latest Sandro Tonali transfer details emerge
Sandro Tonali is looking increasingly likely to become the next player to force a move away from Newcastle.
Tonali was linked with a move to Arsenal at the end of the January transfer window, and the Italian midfielder may only stay at Newcastle beyond this season if they qualify for the Champions League.
Newcastle had no plans to sell Tonali in January, and they ideally do not want to lose the 25-year-old in the summer either.
Tonali first joined Newcastle from AC Milan in 2023, and he has started 22 of their 25 Premier League games this season.

£100m price tag placed on Sandro Tonali
It has been revealed that Newcastle could ask for up to £100million if they were to sell Tonali in the summer.
Newcastle sold Alexander Isak to Liverpool for £125m in September 2025, which is comfortably the club’s biggest ever sale.
With the Toon 11 points off the Champions League places, it looks like Eddie Howe will lose some of his key players in the summer, and the club may need to rebuild their squad.
Supporters are all in agreement that if Newcastle are offered close to £100m for Tonali, then the club should have no hesitation in agreeing to a deal.
One fan said Tonali has had a “poor season“, whilst others commented that the midfielder is “not good enough on the ball” and “doesn’t score goals.”
Newcastle could join Elliot Anderson race
A departure for Tonali could mean Newcastle look to re-sign Elliot Anderson, whom the club sold to Nottingham Forest in 2024.
The Toon had no intention of selling Anderson, but the club had to comply with financial rules in order to avoid a possible points deduction.

Anderson came through the Newcastle academy, and made 55 appearances for the first team before moving to the City Ground.
The 23-year-old has become one of the most sought-after midfielders in the Premier League at Nottingham Forest, and is set to play for England at this summer’s World Cup.
Anderson could also demand a hefty fee if any club wants to sign him, with Manchester United and Manchester City having both registered their interest in a deal.
