Newcastle fans are all saying the same thing about Lewis Hall after display

Newcastle United fans were left impressed by Lewis Hall’s performance for England’s Under-21s on 9 September.

The left-back played the full game against Austria and the young Three Lions won 4-1.

The Newcastle defender provided two assists throughout the game, showcasing his range of passing from an offensive perspective.

It led to Magpies fans singing his praises even though he hasn’t been featuring regularly under Eddie Howe this season.

The 20-year-old moved to St James’ Park permanently this summer after spending the previous campaign on loan with the north east giants from Chelsea.

Hall did start the first game of the season against Southampton, but since then he’s been a substitute in the following two matches.

Newcastle United fans want to see more from Lewis Hall

Hall has showcased throughout his time at the north east giants, but after a strong international showing the supporters are now looking for more.

He’s way better than what he gets credit for. He tries very risky balls a lot more often which do get intercepted more than someone playing the ball back 5yds. He needs to learn when to keep position but that will come. Top top player for sure.
