
Newcastle fans fume as ‘terrible’ Anthony Gordon footage re-analysed
Newcastle United fans singled-out Anthony Gordon’s body language during their defeat against Fulham in the Premier League.
The Magpies were beaten 3-1 at Craven Cottage after goals from Raul Jimenez, Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson.
It marked the first time Eddie Howe’s team have been beaten in the Premier League this season, with Harvey Barnes’ second-half goal proving to be nothing more than a consolation.
However, it was Gordon who came under fire from the Newcastle supporters after he failed to influence the game.
The 23-year-old was replaced by William Osula in the 83rd minute of the game as Howe looked to change things up.
But Newcastle supporters had been analysing Gordon’s body language throughout the game and weren’t pleased with what they witnessed.

Gordon has only scored once in Newcastle’s opening five Premier League games, and the defeat against Fulham marked another match without an assist for the England international.
However, fans were more concerned by Gordon’s overall attitude and body language throughout the 90 minutes.
