Newcastle fans have taken to social media to pay their thanks to Aston Villa star Jack Grealish after he was photographed celebrating with Newcastle’s star men.
Grealish was the man who scored the goal which saw Rafael Benitez’s side secure the Championship title ahead of Brighton.
His fine goal on the last day of the season meant Villa earned a 1-1 draw with the then league leaders, with the Magpies leapfrogging Chris Hughton’s side thanks to a 3-0 win over Barnsley.
Now it appears that Grealish is getting involved with the title celebrations, with former teammate and Newcastle defender Ciaran Clark posting a photo of the Villa man on his official Twitter account on Friday afternoon.

Joining Clark (right) and Grealish (second from right) are fellow Newcastle players Grant Hanley (left) and Dwight Gayle (centre).
The Magpies stars look jovial after their efforts saw them snatch glory right at death, with Gayle firing them forward with an impressive 23 goals, including a late strike in the comprehensive victory over Barnsley.
Magpies fans took to Twitter to express their admiration for the part the 21-year-old played in their title winning campaign.

However, one fan was more focused on the players’ company rather than the Newcastle men themselves:
Who's the bloke in the middle that's not quite "football material"

Clark meanwhile has established himself as a key figure at the heart of the Tyneside club’s defence after joining from Villa in the summer of 2016, although was ruled out of their final game through injury.
His former teammate Grealish made 33 appearances for the Midlands club this season, scoring five goals.
In other Newcastle transfer news, the Magpies are a surprise name in the running to sign this Leeds player.
