Rafael Benitez has made one change to his side, with Perez replacing Mohamed Diame in the attacking position.
Perez, 23, is expected to play behind frontman Dwight Gayle and will hope to stake his place in the side.

Haven't been won over by Diame yet, so glad he's not playing. Though saying that, Perez hadn't been great for a while, either.

I know Rafa likes to rotate but I hate it when Hayden doesn't play. Key. Glad to see Diame dropped for Perez though. We win 2-0 #NUFC

Perez dropping deeper means he'll either be amazing or completely useless #nufc

Seems it's neither! Perez gets the nod. Bit unlucky for Mitro after his midweek performance and his impact vs Norwich. #NUFC

Perez joined Newcastle in the summer of 2014 from Spanish club Tenerife.
He was unable to stop the famous club from suffering relegation in the last campaign and has struggled to have an effect in the Championship.
The former Spain Under-21 international has played in 10 encounters for Rafa Benitez’s side in England’s second tier with a return of just three goals, two coming against Cheltenham in the EFL Cup.
